I-80 Bigfoot Crossing

On the evening of October 4th, 2025, a retired civil engineer and Air Force veteran—along with his wife—unexpectedly encountered a dark figure crossing Interstate 80 near mile marker 169 in Centre County.
The large human shaped entity appeared abruptly, striding in seconds across the width of both lanes, and clearing guardrails on each side of the busy highway with no effort.
Reported to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization [BFRO] , the couple were not alone in their experience. Two more witnesses also reported their own encounters, with one expressing "I know what I saw, but don't know WHAT I saw. I'm an avid hunter with fifty plus years in the woods. This was not a bear." It is noted that this incident occurred near Bald Eagle State Park, south of Sproul State Forest.
